GOVERNANCE
The JPIA is member-owned, member-governed and member driven.
The organization is governed by the Board of Directors, which is composed of one representative from each member agency. The representative director must be a member of his/her governing board and be selected by that board for the JPIA Board.
Water agency directors and managers served by JPIA manage the program. We are constantly evolving to meet the needs of our members, based on decisions by the Board of Directors and various committees. Members have opportunities to influence and control the direction and activities of the JPIA through the democratic process.
As a special district, the JPIA’s formation and operation are subject to the provisions of the California Government Code.
